Import documents must describe the same transaction and the same machines. Product names, quantities, values, package counts, weights, marks, consignee, origin and transport references should reconcile across the commercial invoice, packing list, transport document and any destination-specific evidence.
Direct recommendation
Ask the importer and customs broker for the destination checklist before production finishes. Give MERI the exact legal names, addresses, tax/import identifiers, product description and required certificates. Review drafts before shipment; requirements vary by country and transaction.

Planning framework
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Commercial | Quotation/order, commercial invoice and payment/value records |
| Cargo | Export packing list, package marks, net/gross weight and dimensions |
| Transport | Booking details and bill of lading, sea waybill or air waybill as applicable |
| Origin | Origin statement/certificate when required and support for preference claims |
| Product | Model/configuration, TDS/manual, labels and market-specific evidence |
Start with importer instructions
The buyer or broker should identify mandatory fields, language, copies, legalization and timing. Generic exporter practice cannot replace destination rules.
Reconcile legal parties
Use the approved seller, buyer, consignee and notify-party details consistently. Confirm addresses and importer identifiers before documents are issued.
Make descriptions specific
Describe the actual mower, model and relevant configuration without vague marketing terms. Ensure quantities and values align with the commercial transaction.
Match invoice and packing list
The packing list should identify packages, contents, marks, dimensions and net/gross weights; it does not replace the commercial invoice.
Link transport references
Check shipper, consignee, ports/places, package count and cargo description on draft transport documents before release.
Preserve the final file
Store signed or issued versions, broker instructions and corrections with the order and machine identities for audit and after-sales use.
