Remote Control Orchard Tillers: ME-RT and PRO

Plan orchard cultivation around row access, soil, tree roots and irrigation. A remote control tiller for orchard work should match the working depth and implement layout to the crop, then compare the existing ME-RT and PRO platforms.

Choose around your working task

01

Measure the orchard work zone

Record row/gate width, headland turns, trees, roots and irrigation. Mark where cultivation is allowed and where the ground should remain undisturbed.

02

Specify the soil task

Describe soil condition, target depth, required width and whether ditching or backfilling is part of the same job. Depth near roots is an agronomic decision, not a machine-only recommendation.

03

Compare the two platforms

The current standard ME-RT is 15 hp KOOP 195 diesel with 800 mm working width. The PRO is 13 kW diesel with 900 mm rotary tillage width and hydraulic lift. Keep each tool set and optional upgrade clear.

PRO formal rotary tillage depth: 130–250 mm; ditching depth: 200–300 mm. Standard PRO grass cutting: 20–80 mm; optional front flail cutting: 50–2000 mm. Match soil depth to roots and irrigation.

Questions before you choose

What depth is published for ME-RT PRO?

Its formal sheet lists 130–250 mm rotary tillage depth. That machine capability does not mean the full depth is suitable near every orchard’s roots.

Do both platforms use diesel?

Yes. The current standard ME-RT and ME-RT PRO are both diesel configurations. Choose by task, tools, access and control/lift rather than fuel name alone.

Can I combine tillage, ditching and backfilling?

Both platforms support the specified agricultural tasks through their respective tool systems. Agree each tool and its supply scope in the order.

Is this a separate orchard-tiller product model?

No. This application page compares existing ME-RT platforms for orchard work; it does not create an unconfirmed new model.
