The MERI RCS family covers seven website models from 100 to 800 L. Capacity increases alongside chassis dimensions, weight, travel characteristics and the configuration required for boom or airblast work. This matrix is a shortlist tool; final selection still requires crop, access, spray-system and destination details.
Direct recommendation
Use RCS100–RCS200 where compact access is the first constraint, RCS300–RCS400 where the site supports a mid-capacity balance, and RCS500–RCS800 where longer work cycles justify the larger platform. These are selection bands, not application guarantees. Confirm the exact chassis and complete configured dimensions.

Compact-capacity band: 100–200 L
RCS100, RCS120 and RCS200 provide verified chassis widths of 400, 520 and 700 mm. Begin here for narrow vegetable rows, greenhouse aisles, compact orchards or sites with convenient refilling. The crop target still decides whether the machine needs boom or airblast delivery.
Mid-capacity band: 300–400 L
RCS300 and RCS400 use verified chassis widths of 900 and 960 mm. They can balance longer work cycles with access where those widths and final equipment fit. Measure headlands and transport rather than assuming a mid-size tank will turn anywhere a smaller sprayer can.
High-capacity band: 500–800 L
RCS500 and RCS800 use 980 and 1100 mm chassis widths. Evaluate them for larger blocks or long refill routes only after ground, row width, turning, trailer and storage checks pass. The RCS800 has different published travel-speed and weight data, so it should not be treated as a scaled RCS500.
Choose delivery system separately
Tank capacity does not convert a boom into an orchard sprayer or make airblast appropriate for low crops. Select boom for the defined horizontal target and airblast for canopy work after reviewing airflow and coverage needs. Confirm package compatibility for the shortlisted model.
Keep the final configuration traceable
The quotation should name model, tank, boom or airblast system, pump, nozzles or fan arrangement, engine, dimensions and destination documents. Link the same approved TDS used in the product and support areas so buyers are not comparing duplicate or outdated files.
Seven-model shortlist checkpoints
At 100 and 120 L, confirm that compact access creates more value than a longer cycle. At 200 and 300 L, check whether the added width still preserves turning. At 400 and 500 L, calculate whether fewer refills offset route and transport demands. For 800 L, review its distinct dimensions, weight and speed as a separate platform.
Remove a model whenever one mandatory checkpoint fails. The matrix should narrow the field; it should not score a larger tank higher merely because more capacity is available.
Information to record before selection
- Representative measurements, photographs and the method used.
- Task, target result, ground, access, turns and transport route.
- Daily work window, refill or energy plan and service capability.
- Exact model, working equipment, destination and current documents.

Buyer FAQ
Does the largest published number identify the best model?
No. The complete route, task, configuration and operating conditions control suitability.
Can observed field performance replace the TDS?
No. Record observations with their conditions and keep them separate from published ratings.
What does MERI need to review a shortlist?
Send measurements, site media, workload, access, infrastructure, destination and preferred configuration.
Review the measured site and configuration
Send the actual inputs so MERI can identify the relevant model and documents.
